Internal Exhibits

We host many exhibits through out the year. The exhibits are on display for the public to view for free. As we have grown through the years so have our archive. It is impossible to display over 250,000 images in our gallery. If you would like to see more on a particular subject please ask us. We would be happy to search our records and help you find a little bit of your past.

Veternas Exhibit

This exhibit is dedicated to the Veterans past & present of our country. It is an honor for us to have such a display. This is a seasonal exhibit however you are always more than welcome to visit our facility where you may view them digitally in our Museums History Center.

Our Town Exhibit

This exhibit contains images of the greater Plant City Area. Take a trip back in time and look how much the community has developed.

When We Were Kids Exhibit

A peak back at the citizens of our community present and past. This exhibit contains images of our community when we were Children, you may find an old friend, favorite teacher, or maybe yourself.

Black History Exhibit

History is a necessity and keeping track of it is just important. That is why we have dedicated ourselves to preserving it. In this exhibit we display the impact of the African-American culture and the citizens within our community.

Strawberry Festival Exhibit

The Strawberry Festival and Plant City History are intertwined. Rediscover the origins of this annual event that brings it’s community together.

PCPA Designed Imaging Work Flow

Step 1

Tempature Controlled Storage

All of our orginal photographs are contained in a tempature controlled storage before and after the scanning process.

Step 2

Ultra HD Digital Scans

We use commercial grade Ultra HD scanners to digitize photographs, slides & documents.

Step 3

Photo Processing

After the scanning process we may digitally repair damaged sections of the photographs.

Step 4

Data Storage

After Photo Processing is completed the new image is moved over to our main data servers where additional roles will be performed before public access.

Step 5

Server Indexing

Our servers will beging indexing any new data that has been added to the archive. This will make searching and access much faster for the public. 

Step 6

To The Cloud

Using cloud services, all of our archives syncs with our local servers to complete the imaging work flow.
